Hurt people hurt people

I tried to help you once

Against my own advice

I saw you going down

But you never realized

That you're drowning in the water

So I offered you my hand

Compassion's in my nature

Tonight is our last stand

I have reconsidered so many things over the last couple of years. Especially concerning all speculations about so called psychological traumas/ emotional problems. In my experience, emotionally disturbed people who claim that the whole world has done them wrong are actually the ones to avoid, not to be understood. I know, pretty radical view. But let me explain myself here.

First of all, I want to distinguish terms ‘psychological trauma’ (which is still just a concept at the end of the day and is totally fixable) and ‘ emotionally disturbed’ individuals. Psychological trauma is a problem that people deal with. ‘Disturbed’ is the way of acting and being, and has roots in one’s conscious choice.

‘Emotionally disturbed’ people don’t care. About anything. Anyone. They trick you into thinking that they are complex, but the mechanism behind their behavior is as simple as it could get. They are ‘broken, betrayed, disturbed’ because they feel sorry for themselves, for something they couldn’t or didn’t get. Basically, that childish thing when we cried because parents didn’t get us the toy we wanted and blame them for ‘hurting’ us. Well, in fact, this is a very basic, primary instinct. It is just twisted into making it seem like what we call feelings, sensitivity, vulnerability. However, these phenomena are all familiar only to people with a higher level of consciousness. And ‘disturbed’ are actually way below that.

I am often being told that I have a likable persona. It’s because I like people, genially, and it’s a natural energy exchange. However, when I detect that ‘disturbed’ one, I immediately know that they are the most unreliable type of people that will let you down, betray, take of your emotional resources, or whatever else they can, and run. They will stab you in the back. One day. It’s all just a matter of time. Because they simply don’t feel anything, besides those very basic instincts, like anger, desire of sex, and urge to be rewarded. Yes, this is literally it. Inside, they are shallow. All of the drama is just a stupid act.

Over the period of few years, I myself had issues. Not psychological, psychiatric. And it was never anybody’s problem, only mine. I fixed myself so I won’t hurt others. I became happy, not only for me, but for people around me.

No matter how disturbed or ‘broken’ someone is, there is no justification for being unethical , immoral or inhumane. Example. A man who beat up his wife is definitely emotionally disturbed. What do people do with him? Put in prison, without any explanation. Why? I will repeat myself here. Because ‘disturbed’ is the way of acting and being, and has roots in one’s conscious choice. There are plenty of other examples, like drug addicts being psychologically abusive. Well, the best way to handle it is to run and avoid at all costs. These people chose to be that way. Stay the hell away.
